The inverse derivative action results in reduced hunting, smooth stable control action, tight control with user friendly tuning. The broad operating range allows for large swings in the process input without the need to retune the controller. In most instances the 270 can be installed and the process up and running with very little setup time. Some minor fine tuning to optimize the process is all that is needed.

The Ces 270 also features several options that were designed toenhance the flexibility of the controller. The optional Remote Setpoint allows the user to set the controller from a central location such as from a plc or computer. The optional Delta offset allows the user to tune in a constant error for example, to pressurize a room.

The CES 270 is available as either current or voltage in ,and either current or voltage output. The input and output 4-20 mA loops are sourced by the 270 eliminating the need for external power supplies. The Ces 270 is available as either as 110 VAC or as 24 VDC power. In addition the unit can be ordered with an optional remote setpoint input, allowing the user more flexibility in installation.
