GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The CES 547 is a loop powered draft range differential pressure transmitter with
display. The CES 547 is based on the 447 with the addition of a 3 1/2 digit LCD
display. This transmitter is ideal for dry air and gas applications that require high
performance at a reasonable cost. The 547 converts the input pressure to a 4-20
mA signal that is proportional to square root or linear function curves. With its low
hysteresis, broad temperature range, and a transducer that is guaranteed to meet
specifications even after 10,000,000 full scale cycles, the transmitter is stable,
reliable, repeatable and cost effective.
The 547 uses a bi-polar 1999 count, 3 1/2 digit 0.5" LCD to provide a local
reading. The display can be set to read in CFM, inches of water or any desired
engineering unit. The 13 volt loop burden of the CES 547 ensures that up to 550
ohms of loop load can be driven with a standard 24 volt supply. The extruded
aluminum case provides rugged protection and easy mounting as well as
electrical shielding.
